"River of Time" tells the story of the North Platte River, following the journey of icy snowpack waters from their birthplace in Colorado through the state of Wyoming.

The film chronicles the history of the building of the North Platte dam system, which began more than a century ago. It features rare footage of drought conditions and record-breaking inflows that sent water cascading over the weir structure at Pathfinder Dam.
Interviews with state and federal officials give an overview of conditions and restoration efforts on the waterway from 2007 through 2011.
