William Ruckelshaus has led an extraordinary public life, serving twice as the Administrator of the EPA, Deputy Director of the FBI, and playing a courageous role in the final days of the Watergate scandal. In more recent years, he has joined with the University of Wyoming in establishing the Ruckelshaus Institute which is dedicated to research and innovation in environmental issues. Wyoming Chronicle host Richard Ager talks with William Ruckelshaus about his life and work.







The Ruckelshaus Institute of Environment and Natural Resources, University of Wyoming, presents "Across The Great Divide", a round-table of acclaimed natural resource leaders and collaborators originally presented on Monday, August 13, at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Cody. Speakers - Alan K. Simpson, U.S. Senator (retired, 1979-1997); William D. Ruckelshaus, administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (1970-73, 1983-85); and John F. Turner, director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (1989-93). The round-table will be moderated by Michael J. Sullivan, Governor of Wyoming (1987-95).
